Architecture & Fine Arts Library The Architecture and Fine Arts Library (AFA) is in room 104 of the Architecture Building and supports teaching, learning and research in the following areas: Art, Art History, Architecture, Film/Video Studies, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Landscape Design, Music, and Photography. Central Library Central Library is UT Arlington's largest library facility with collections in most subject areas and study spaces throughout the building. Within the walls of Central Library you will find a large collection of circulating books, reference books, periodicals (current and bound), course reserve materials. Electronic Business Library The Electronic Business Library (EBL) is located in room 136 of the Business Building. In the business building, space prohibits having a traditional library with books and journals, so we've defined our "Library" as one with electronic resources, along with business librarians who have the expertise to guide students and faculty to the best resources. Science & Engineering Library The Science and Engineering Library (SEL) is located in the basement of Nedderman Hall, room B03 and supports teaching, learning and research in the following areas: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Nanotechnology. Social Work Electronic Library The Social Work Electronic Library (SWEL) is located in room 111 of Building A of the School of Social Work Complex. Special Collections Special Collections is located on the 6th floor of Central Library and specializes in historical materials relating to Texas, the U.S. War with Mexico (1846-1848), the cartographic history of Texas and the Gulf of Mexico, and Mexico from 1810-1920. More...
UT Arlington/Fort Worth Center -- Santa Fe Station Library The UT Arlington/Fort Worth Center -- Santa Fe Station Library opened in January of 2007. The Library is located on the 1st floor in Room 110 of the historic Santa Fe Freight Building. Space prohibits having a traditional library with books and journals, so we've defined our "Library" as one with electronic resources, along with library staff who have the expertise to guide students and faculty to the best resources. Digital Media Studio The Digital Media Studio (DMS), located in Central Library B29, is a UT Arlington-community resource offering expertise and facilities to assist, support, and promote the use of digital technologies in teaching, learning, and research at UT Arlington. The DMS occasionally closes for special classes that are scheduled in advance. More...
GIS Student Computing Facility The GIS Student Computing Facility, located in Central Library 510, is maintained by the Office of Information Technology. Use of the facility is restricted to UT Arlington students, staff and faculty. The GIS Librarian holds office hours in the facility: Tuesday - Thursday 4-5:30 pm and Saturday Noon - 8:00 pm (excluding holidays and intersessions). Check the OIT Client Services web site for holiday hours.
JavaCity Java City is located on the first floor of Central library and offers a full coffee bar experience, including light snacks.
Xerox Copy Center Photocopy services in the UT Arlington Library are provided by the Xerox Copy Center. A full service copy center is located in Central Library B03. Self-service copiers are located in the basement and on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the Central Library, as well as in the Architecture & Fine Arts Library and in the Science & Engineering Library.
