The Multicultural Collection houses material on the four major ethnic minorities found in the Southwest: African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans. Works in the collection include contributions to the culture of each and emphasis on their contemporary issues. The geographical emphasis consists of Arizona, California, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The collection includes circulating and reference books, periodicals, and newspapers.
