Microforms Collections

Description:

Microform holdings (microfilm and microfiche) are located on the second floor of the Central Library. Collections include back runs of periodicals, newspapers, U.S. government publications (including ERIC documents and census data), corporate annual reports and the Library of American Civilization.

The Library also has a significant collection of microfilm/fiche in Special Collections. As a member of the Texas State Library's Regional Historical Resource Depository (RHRD), Special Collections holds county records on microfilm for specific Texas counties (find our county holdings). Special Collections also houses microfilm of City Directories for most of the larger Texas cities, historical newspapers and journals of Texas labor organizations, Spanish language collections with an emphasis on Yucatan and Honduran archives, and Texas history resources including the Bexar Archives, Thomas W.
