The text towards the bottom of the page reads "Banquet in honor of William H. Taft, President of the United States, tendered by Citizens of Dallas, Oriental Hotel, October twenty third, 1909." There are five miniature flags fixed to the cover of the program, one flag of France is missing. The first page of the program features a photograph of President William H. Taft as well as excerpts from the President's speech delivered in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, 1909. The second page of the program features names of members of "The Presidential Party." The third page of the program features a header reading "A Simple Dinner" and appears to include a menu, a list of food dishes and drinks to be served at the dinner. The fourth page of the program features a header reading "Toasts" and includes a list of names of people who were to give toasts at the event. The back page on the inside cover of the program features a header reading "List of Committees" and lists the names of members of several different committees.
