Description: Lieutenant Colonel (Lt. Col.) Harold Pruitt is pictured here. He is shown standing in neighborhood, dressed in military uniform and smiling for the camera. He was released from Moosburg's Stalag 7A prison camp in Germany. He is back in Fort Worth (124 N. Bailey) with his wife and two-year-old daughter, Michael. Mrs. Pruitt is the former Miss Syble Laby and Colonel (Col.) met her while he was stationed in Texas. He is the son of Mrs. Bertha M. Pruitt. He graduated from the University of Alabama. He was squadron commander of the 485th Group when flak brought his B-24 down over Italy on his 19th mission. Colonel (Col.) Pruitt fought with the 15th Air Force. He will report at Atlantic City, New Jersey, for reassignment. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 28, 1945.
