Description: Ensign Foster E. Looney, Navy dive bomber pilot, wearing a military uniform. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Looney. He is a veteran of 23 combat missions as a Navy dive bomber pilot with the famed Air Group 2 and holder of the Navy Cross. He is a graduate of Paschal High School and attended NTAC for two years. He was on his way to a new assignment after spending a leave in Fort Worth. He is accompanied by his bride, the former Miss Betty Jo Boucher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. M. Boucher. The couple were married November 10, eight days after he returned from overseas duty. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 1, 1944.
