Title: T. C. U. Horned Frogs vs. Baylor Bears
Description: The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are facing the rival Baylor Bears at Municipal Stadium in Waco, Texas. In the second quarter of the game, the Frogs' talented passer Emery Nix is shown running the ball. Some of the T. C. U. blockers on the play are back John Bond (34), center Billy Blackstone (50), and end Bruce Alford (83). Nix gained seven on the run, but was far more effective throwing the deep ball. He marked up 337 yards through the air and T. C. U. won the game 23-12. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, November 2, 1941.
