The DMS is located in the basement (room B29) of the Central Library and is open weekdays from 10am to 7pm and weekends 1pm to 5pm, except where otherwise noted. No reservation is required in order to use the DMS, but certain computers in the DMS can be reserved in advance. These reservations can be made by contacting DMS staff at (817) 272-1345.
The DMS is primarily a self-service learning and multimedia production facility, but staff on duty can provide limited assistance with the available hardware and software. If more in-depth assistance is needed, then a visit to the DMS should be planned to take advantage of posted DMS staff office hours. Alternatively, an appointment can be arranged with DMS staff by emailing dms@uta.edu. (Note: from March 17-19 email to DMS is not available.)
The DMS is available for closure requests by UT Arlington faculty during their class for student training and review. Please be aware that the DMS will require at least a 14-day notice for reservation and that usage is limited to software already installed on the DMS computers. Reservation is on a first come, first served basis. In order to request a closure, please send an email to dms@uta.edu with the information below.
