Co-Curator, with Dr. Sam Haynes, 'Celebrating and Forgetting, Lamenting and Remembering: The US-Mexico War 1846-1848.'
An exhibit running from March through August 30, 2014 drawn entirely from UT Arlington Libraries Special Collections of over 160 items including original letters, journals, sketches, illustrated books, pamphlets, newspapers, broadsides, sheet music, lithographed images and maps. The exhibit was organized to highlight the UT Arlington Libraries' joint website with Dr. Sam Haynes' Center for Southwest Studies titled 'A Continent Divided: The US-Mexico War 1846-1848.' (See links.) The exhibit represented only a small portion of the US-Mexico War materials collected, donated, and endowed by Fort Worth attorney, collector, and philanthropist Jenkins Garrett, Since 1995, when Mr. Garrett and Katherine R. Goodwin published their bibliography of the Library's US-Mexico War holdings, the Library has continued to acquire materials relating to this war.
