Caldecott Award Winners

The Caldecott Award is named for Ralph Caldecott, the nineteenth-century English illustrator, and it has been awarded annually by the American Library Association since 1938. It is presented to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children published in the US during the preceding year.

The titles are housed in the Reading Resources Room, which is located on the second floor of the Central Library.
