Library Seminars and Tours The UT Arlington Library offers seminars to learn how to effectively use the Libraries and its resources. Seminars are free and are open to UT Arlington students, faculty, and staff. No registration is required unless noted. Library instruction and seminars rely heavily on visuals or sound. If you are a UT Arlington student registered with the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD), instruction sessions can be tape recorded so the volume can be increased for later reference. Handouts can be enlarged, or electronic copies can be provided. If you are an instructor, you can request a customized library instruction session for your class. Graduate Research Seminars Seminars designed to introduce graduate students to library resources and services. GIS WorkshopsHands-on workshops demonstrating the applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to real life scenarios. ToursWant to find out what resources are available at the UT Arlington Library? General tours are offered at the first of each semester. |
