Biography:

Currently, Cadet Lieutenant Commander Felix Woods is majoring in University Studies at UT Arlington, and has previously studied at Hardin-Simmons University. Cadet LTC Woods, his subordinate commanders, and his staff of senior cadets in URA’s ROTC program are bringing several long-term goals to fruition. The battalion’s new physical fitness program has resulted in an impressive 31-point increase in the overall battalion average. They have implemented a new format for squad and platoon level training that is paying dividends in domain knowledge, confidence, and tactical competence across all MS levels, and they have become a much, much more visible organization on campus.

Mr. Woods served in the Army National Guard from January 2007 through August 2012. During that time, he was stationed at, among other bases, Fort Hood and Fort Drum. He also had tours of duty in Afghanistan during the Afghan War and in Iraq as part of the Operation Iraqi Freedom campaign.
