There is unrestricted access to the UT Arlington Library online catalog.

Access to the remaining catalogs, databases, and e-journals is restricted by each database's commercial vendor. Because of these vendor-imposed restrictions, off-campus users may not be able to access all library databases. Anyone who is not a UT Arlington student, faculty or staff member is not permitted electronic access to The UT Arlington Library from outside the libraries.

Databases and e-journals contain copyrighted materials of the Producer/Vendors and their licensors which retain sole ownership of these materials. Only fair use, as provided by the United States copyright law is permitted.

Off-Campus Access Instructions

"Authorized Users" are currently registered students, currently employed faculty and staff, and, in most instances, walk-in users. The Library is expected to restrict access to authorized users by verifying ID numbers, through use of passwords, or by restricting access to IP (internet protocol) addresses on the UT Arlington campus.

• Authorized users may use these electronic resources solely for scholarly, research, or educational purposes.
• Giving unauthorized users access to computers or passwords is a violation of the producer-library agreement and may result in disciplinary or legal action.
• Providing information to unauthorized users, either in print or in electronic form is not permitted.
