Information Fair
UT Arlington Library Welcomes Students with Information Fair Tuesday, August 30, 2005 UT Arlington Library's Round-Up Offers Freebies and Food As part of Welcome Days, UT Arlington Library invites students to learn more about the library's resources and services on Tuesday, August 30, 2005, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The Libraries' Information Fair Round-Up showcases services like the Digital Media Studio, Sam's Click Café and Geographic Information Systems. Also highlighted are the libraries' noteworthy holdings, including the extensive electronic resources, popular reading collection, and Texas history collection. Librarians and staff of the libraries will be available to answer students' questions and demonstrate the services available throughout Central Library and the various branches. Students will be able to have their picture taken and placed in an old west-style wanted poster, make marbled bookmarks, and enter drawings for prizes. After visiting at least three information stations in the Central Library, students are eligible for free food in the library's sixth floor atrium.
