Supporting The UT Arlington Library The Library is at the heart of The University of Texas at Arlingtons (UT Arlington) intellectual community. And at the heart of the Library is its services and collections. The UT Arlington Library System is comprised of three facilities--the Architecture and Fine Arts Library, the Central Library, and the Science and Engineering Library--and serves close to one million users a year. Todays library is not merely a warehouse of books, journals, maps, and archives and manuscript collections, but also a growing bundle of electronic sources and services available to both remote and inhouse users. Despite the complexity of modern libraries, The UT Arlington Library have a single mission, and that is providing quality and innovative services to our users. While this mission is easy to state, it is difficult to do. Obviously this takes resources, oftentimes resources over and above those provided by the state. As a result, The UT Arlington Library have designed a development program that invites individuals, organizations, and businesses to participate in improving and expanding library services. The University Libraries welcome gifts and donations which support the teaching and research needs of our users.
