Gifts of Books and Other Library Material
Gifts of books, manuscripts, musical recordings and other materials, made outright or by bequest, allow The UT Arlington Library to make valuable additions to their collections. Gifts of equipment in good condition and compatible with equipment now being used are welcome. All gifts of books, equipment, or other library material are accepted subject to the approval of the University of Texas System Board of Regents. The University reserves the right to determine retention, location, cataloging treatment, and other considerations relating to use or disposition of gift material. The appraisal of a gift to The UT Arlington Library for income tax purposes is the responsibility of the donor. UT Arlington Library cannot appraise the gifts made to it. Donors may wish to discuss prospective donations, appraisals, and tax considerations with appropriate financial or legal advisors. If you have a question about a donation or a potential donation, please contact Mary Castle at castle@uta.edu |
