Gifts in the amount of $1,000 or more may be made to an existing library endowment. Currently there are three endowments which have been established to support library enhancements and improvements, and they are:

General Library Endowment
Income is used to improve library services in the three libraries on campus (Architecture and Fine Arts Library, Central Library, and Science and Engineering Library).

Special Collections Endowment
Income is used to sponsor programs and acquire collections relating to Texas and Southwestern history and the history of the U.S. War with Mexico, 1846-1848.

Virginia Garrett Cartographic History Library Endowment
Income is used to support the acquisition and processing of maps and atlases as well as to underwrite public programs relating to cartographic history.
