Outright or Deferred Gifts
Gifts of cash made outright, by bequest, or by a lifetime-income gift, such as a trust, may be directed to a variety of uses, including the purchase of library materials or equipment or the support of special programs and services. An endowment can be established within the Libraries with a donation of $10,000 or more. An endowment established today will continue to benefit the UT Arlington community for generations to come. Additions to an existing endowment may be made in amounts from $1,000-$10,000. Proceeds from endowments may be used for general or specific purposes, depending upon the wishes of the donor. Suggested areas include support for acquisitions, the purchase of electronic resources, and ongoing preservation activities. The UT Arlington Library would be happy to assist persons interested in creating bequests or lifetime-income gifts. |
