Course Reserves
All reserve items have a call number and are included in the UT Arlington UT Arlington Library Catalog. In the UT Arlington Library Catalog select the Course Reserves tab and then search by professor's name or course number.
Library Course Guides
The UT Arlington Library instruction services staff compile guides to library research focused on individual courses taught at UT Arlington.
RefWorks
Web-based bibliography and database manager that allows importing of citations from online article indexes and databases. Makes research paper preparation easier by automatic formatting of the paper and the bibliography.

Did You Know?
Digital Media Studio
A self-service multimedia production and training facility designed to serve the needs of UT Arlington students, faculty, and staff. A wide variety of multimedia software is available in the classroom. Software in the DMS enables digital audio and video editing, graphics and animation creation, 3D design, web site development, photo and image manipulation, desktop publishing and multimedia authoring. Located in the basement of the Central Library.
Study Spaces
Group Study Rooms
Open group study rooms are available in Central Library on the 3rd, 4th & 5th floors on a first come, first served basis. The basement in Central is designated as a group study area.
Reserved Group Study Rooms
The UT Arlington Library maintains 7 Reserved Group Study rooms, all of which are enhanced with special equipment. Four of these are at the Central Library and three at the Science and Engineering Library. The rooms are for use by UT Arlington faculty, staff and students. They are designated for group use and the equipment varies among the rooms. See the current schedule of reserved rooms managed by the Central Library Circulation Desk.
Quiet Study Areas
Areas in Central Library, Science & Engineering Library and Architecture & Fine Arts Library have been designated as "Quiet Study Areas" and the use of cell phones in these areas is discouraged.
RefWorks
RefWorks is a web-based bibliography and database manager that allows users to create their own personal database by importing references from text files or online databases. These references can be used in writing bibliographies for papers and to automatically format the paper and the bibliography in seconds. Various writing styles are accommodated.
