Description -   In this letter Prevost enclosed a map of northern Mexico that he copied from the map that was captured with the rest of General Arista’s baggage following the battle of Resaca de la Palma. Prevost offers his views on how much territory the U.S. should acquire from Mexico to compensate it for the war.
