Eighteen members of the families of Isaac Killough, George Wood, and Barakias Williams are killed at their settlement seven miles northwest of present-day Jacksonville by remnants of the failed Córdova Rebellion. Among the Córdova rebels are Caddos, Coushattas, runaway slaves, and Mexicans.
