The ELD e-forum is organized by the Mentoring Committee of the American Society for Engineering Education's Engineering Libraries Division (ELD). The e-Forum is a moderated, online discussion of topics of interest to engineering librarians. In this first e-Forum in the series, I moderated on the topic of Academic Library Makerspaces. As the moderator, I crafted a series of questions to stimulate and guide the discussion. I posed questions about academic library makerspace policies and outreach, and since I have particular interest in how makerspaces are being used in undergraduate curricula, I had questions about that too.

I want to thank all who attended the e-Forum, and give a big special thanks to Kari Kozak who kept the conversation alive!
