Morgan Chivers and I each gave presentations during Library 2.017: Makerspaces online mini-conference. Morgan's presentation, "Walking the Walk: Iterative Design in Student Staff Service Learning Projects," was about student-led service learning projects for the UTA FabLab. My presentation, "Competencies-based Course Integration of Academic Library Makerspaces," was about the Maker Literacies Program here at UTA Libraries. Please accept my apologies for failing to hit my record button until a few minutes into the presentation. You can download my slides to see the couple that were missing from the video. There were also some audio anomalies that were not my fault, and I apologize for those too :-)

We were told that there were over 5,900 registrants for this event. I counted 33 in the chat box for my presentation. It was really great to have so many in attendance; I had a lot of fun with this presentation, the attendees, and the Q&A. I just wish I got the technology right... whoops!

You can view all of the recordings on the Library 2.0 YouTube channel, including some very good keynote speakers.
