Distance Education and Disability Delivery Services

We provide free delivery of library resources to distance education students, students and faculty with disabilities, and others via the UTA Interlibrary Loan Online System.

We can retrieve books, journal articles, book chapters and media held in the UTA Libraries and mail them to your preferred mailing address. We'll also provide a return mailing label with each loan.

Borrowers will be responsible for any charges and fees in relation to overdue or lost books.

Should a book be lost in the return mail to UTA, students are responsible for all charges incurred to replace the item at the lending library. Use of tracking is highly recommended.

This service is currently available only to:

  • UTA distance education students whose residence on record is at least 30 miles from the main campus
  • UTA Fort Worth Electronic Library
  • Universities Center at Dallas (UCD)
  • Doctoral students completing their dissertations away from campus
  • Students in the College of Business Executive MBA program
  • Students in the College of Nursing RN to BSN program
  • Currently enrolled UTA students with disabilities who are registered with the Office for Students with Disabilities
  • Currently employed UTA faculty, associates of the faculty, and staff with disabilities
