Financial support helps the Library to improve and expand services which, in turn, support the teaching and research needs of our community. Your gift means a great deal to UT Arlington and to the students and faculty who benefit from your generosity.
Outright or Deferred Gifts
Gifts of cash made outright, by bequest, or by a lifetime-income gift, such as a trust, may be directed to a variety of uses, including the purchase of library materials or equipment or the support of special programs and services. The UT Arlington Library would be happy to assist persons interested in creating bequests or lifetime-income gifts.
A gift may be made in memory or in honor of a friend or relative. The volume or volumes purchased with the gift will have a special bookplate recognizing the honoree. A letter of acknowledgment is sent to the donor as well as to the honoree or family/friend of the person in whose name the gift was made.
Gifts may be made to an existing library endowment. Currently there are two endowments which have been established to support library enhancements and improvements.
The Gerald Saxon Dean’s Excellence Endowment improves library services at the Architecture & Fine Arts Library, the Science & Engineering Library, and the Central Library.
The Virginia Garrett Cartographic History Library Endowment supports the acquisition and processing of maps, atlases, and public programs related to cartographic history.
Adopt A Journal
Your gift will help to ensure access to print and electronic journals that are critical to the scholarly work done at UT Arlington.
