New! UTA guidelines in DMPTool

A recommended tool is DMPTool, a program that provides templates for most federal and many non-profit and private funding agencies that require data management plans as part of a grant application. UTA guidelines have been developed and are available for view in DMPTool.

Data Publishing Resources

UTA has the Mavs Dataverse in the Texas Data Repository, where you can deposit category-III data and make it available in order to expand the reach of your research and to comply with funders' and publishers' requirements. More information about the Mavs Dataverse's scope and related information can be found in the UTA Data Repository Scope & Policy.

Another resource for finding and publishing data is Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR). The data repository provides a large database of machine-readable social science data sets.

If you are interested in sharing or depositing your data, we can provide customized solutions and assist with the processes for making your data available. For assistance with these and other resources for sharing, preserving, and publishing data please contact dataCAVE@uta.edu.
