Sound Studio

UTA Libraries all-new Sound Studio breaks through the limits to give you access to produce and record the audio you’ve been itching to lay down. You’ll have access to a huge 27” Apple iMac with gobs of screen real estate to author in software like Ableton Live 9 Suite, Logic Pro X, Transcribe!, ProTools, Audacity, Serato DJ Pro, Amp Simulator, Adobe Audition, and Premiere Pro video edit. Record from up to 18 sources through the Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 USB interface; musical instruments, microphones, or whatever un/balanced sources you may have. Monitor it all through our headphones. All of this and more is available to you for free in 3-hour chunks at the Architecture and Fine Arts Library on the west side of UTA’s campus.
