The Libraries' Subject Guides can be used to identify the resources you need to complete research projects. Guides will also include links to relevant tutorials, information about citation styles, and the contact information for your subject librarians.
There is a librarian assigned to each UTA discipline area. Subject librarians can help with any part of the research process. You can request an appointment with your subject librarian.
The Libraries' provide tutorials and guides that will help you with the research process. If you have questions, contact your subject librarian.
As part of the commitment to increasing open access to research, the UTA Libraries provide online hosting for academic journals for UTA faculty and students. Online Journal Systems (OJS) not only hosts your academic publications, but also provides the entire global research community access to your articles. For more information, contact your subject librarian.
There are several tools that can be used to help manage and cite the information you use in your research. The Libraries' provides free access to Refworks. Others include Zotero and EndNote.
Occasionally, the Libraries' will not own the materials you need for your research. We will borrow them from another library in order to lend it to you.
