Texas Disability History Collection

This Newsletter contains information and a call to action for Medicaid reform to redirect Medicaid funds to community placement from institutional care and information on the national health care campaign. It also contains the Tech Act to provide assistive technology services in education for children with disability and a grant application by the Texas Education Agency (T. E. A.) to increase access to education. It includes a short description of the credit card rebate fundraiser, progress on post office access for people with disabilities, and a call to action on other issues and how people can help.
