On the front of this postcard is an aerial view of the South Western Insane Asylum. It is three stories high and is made up of tan brick with a dark brown roof. The building has several windows surrounding every side. In the foreground of the photo is a large yard filled with trees and grass. There is also a long white picket fence leading up to the building. On the back of the card there is text that reads “Pub. By H. Budow, Sab Antonio, Texas,” as well as a handwritten message.
