Description:

A Braille edition of the Bible in at least sixteen volumes was presented to Fort Worth's Lighthouse for the Blind from Mrs. Willie Fay Lewis, seated, Mrs. A.E. Johnson, left, and Mrs. Agnes Milrany representing the Evangels Class of Broadway Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Milrany are wearing suits and hats.. Mrs. Lewis, who is blind, has one of the volumes open and is reading from it. She is also wearing a suit but without a hat. The desk at which Mrs. Lewis is seated is made of wood upon which sits a volume of the Bible, a butter knife and a rotary phone. Behind the women is a filing cabinet against a floral papered wall. There are several decorative pillows on the floor and to the right of the filing cabinet.
