Mr. Souders, a quadraplegic since a 1972 diving accident at Lake Benbrook, has no movement in his fingers, but rather paints with wrist and hand motion. Mr. Souders is seated in a wheelchair, smiling at the camera. He is wearing blue jeans and a pink striped shirt while holding a paintbrush in his right hand. Image published with an article about Mr. Souders and his art in the July 21, 1982 evening edition of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
