Besides numerous campaign ribbons and two battle stars, the colonel (Col.) also wears the Bronze Star. He is wearing his military uniform and standing against a wall. He was commissioned during World War I and called to active duty in 1941 and spent two years at Camp Wolters before going to Europe. He will resume his duties as a federal bank examiner in February.
