Description: Army Sergeant John S. Reeder Junior, 19 and a tank gunner, places a wreath on his mother's grave. Sergeant Reeder is kneeling and wearing his Army uniform. Mrs. Wynema Reeder died on Christmas Day from injuries received in an automobile accident on December 22. Son of John S. Reeder of Hampshire Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas, was unable to obtain a furlough in time to attend the funeral. The wreath he is placing was presented to him by members of the Honest John Club, which is composed of construction and building men.
