Description: (Left to right) Golden Gloves boxer and Navy seaman C.E. Smith, Corpus Christi, Texas, Dorothy Martin, Fort Worth, Texas and Golden Gloves boxer and combat veteran Tom Proctor, Abilene, Texas drink coffee and soft drink. All three are seated at a counter. Behind them is a food rack with glasses, dishes and napkins on it. Seaman Smith is wearing a peacoat. Dorothy Martin is wearing a dark dress with a very large broach, and Mr. Procter is wearing an Army military uniform. Mr. Proctor defeated Mr. Smith in their bout and will face Charles Simmons, Dallas, Texas in the heavyweight finals during the Texas Golden Gloves Tournament at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Mr. Simmons is not pictured. The photograph was published in the Febrary 18, 1946 edition of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
