Description: The largest Mobile Recruiting Unit in the United States was assembled at the Fort Worth Army Air Field (FWAAF). The unit will hit the road Monday to begin recruiting all across the county. Pictured inside the headquarters truck, left to right, are Captain T. E. Larsen, Chief Warrant Officer W. E. Hartman, and Lieutenant Colonel E. L. Johnson. Colonel Johnson supervised the construction of the "highways project." All three men are dressed in their military uniforms.
