Description: Technician Sergeant Harry W. Conner, has arrived for a visit with his relatives in Fort Worth after 18 months in the European Theater of Operations (ETO) and 14 months in a German prison. Before he was captured by the Nazis, Sergeant Conner was serving as an engineer-gunner on a 15th AAF B-24. Conner, whose home is now Los Angeles is spending his furlough with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Conner, and his grandfather, Mr. W. M. LeBaume. His father is the late H. W. Conner, Senior. Sergeant Conner is shown wearing his military uniform. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition July 31, 1945
