Description: A. C. Ferguson, right, of the firm's Chicago, Illinois, office, was appointed as Swift & Company district branch house manager with jurisdiction in Texas and Oklahoma. The headquarters are located in Fort Worth, Texas. Ferguson succeeds A. H. Joiner, left, who is being transferred to Atlanta, Georgia. Ferguson has been with Swift for many years and was at the plant at Cleveland, Ohio, before going to Chicago, Illinois. Joiner came to Fort Worth, Texas, in 1938 as the successor to E. M. Sullivan, who managed the Texas and Oklahoma district for many years. In Atlanta, Georgia, Joiner will have supervision of the Seift branch houses in Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Tennessee. Both men are standing against a bare wall, wearing suits. Mr. Joiner is wearing eyeglasses.
