He left the newspaper on December 10, 1941 to serve with the Coast Artillery in the United States Army. Mr. King spent time in the Aleutians during his service. He was recently discharged and is one of the many war veterans rejoining the telegram. Mr. King is shown standing against a wall, dressed in a suit.
