Description: Paul V. Williams Junior (Jr.), new deputy under Sheriff Rhodes, is pictured here. He is shown, left, with an unidentified man, standing against a bare wall, facing front and posing for the camera. Both men are dressed in suits and ties. The unidentified man, right, is wearing a hat and smoking a cigar. Williams Junior (Jr.), a former bomber pilot, who until June 12 was a lieutenant in the Air Forces, discharged at Fort Sam Houston with 116 points, had 56 missions to his credit in the Mediterranean theater. He began his new duties Saturday. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 1, 1945.
