Title: Frank Kuban Cafe
Description: Thirty-five diners at the Frank Kuban Café, escaped injuries at the 7:15 p.m. Friday when a car driven by Robert E. Mobley crashed into a 12-foot plate glass front of the café. Mobley, a regular diner at the cafe, said he had turned in to park when the clutch slipped and the car jumped over the sidewalk into the front of the cafe. Five men are shown checking out the damage to the cafe, with broken glass on the street, displaced bricks and totally gutted plate glass window. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 7, 1945.
