Description: Colonel Nels L. Soderholm, an officer in the United States Army for almost 30 years, will take charge of the Fort Worth, Texas district of the Texas Military Area, as senior instructor of the Organized Reserve Corps. Colonel Soderholm is shown sitting at a desk with his hands held in front of him. His is wearing his army uniform. To the right of him on the desk are a pair of glasses. During the war he served in Australia and New Guinea, spending 31 months overseas. He was a captain in Europe during World War 1, and served in the Army of Occupation. He is a native of Minnesota. He is married and has one son. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 5, 1946.
