Mrs. Bess McCullar, standing, executive secretary of Denton, Texas Red Cross Chapter, serves cookies to Mrs. R. L. King, donor, wife of an Army colonel and mother of a private. Mrs. McCullar is wearing a dress. Mrs. King is sitting at a table and is wearing a blouse, blazer, and skirt. On the table are cupcakes, a salt shaker, and a napkin dispenser. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, April 4, 1944.
