Title: Saint Ignatius Academy
Description: Saint Ignatius Academy is one of the many historic buildings in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. The four story stone building was opened in 1888 as the first Catholic school in this part of the state and still plays an active part in the educational life of the city. An estimated 20,200 pupils have been trained at Saint Ignatius'. They taught both elementary and high school until 1913 when "Our Lady of Victory" opened. At present, the school instructs children through eighth grade.
