Title: Anthony W. Casseaux, 20, Seaman Second Class
Description: Portrait of Anthony W. Casseaux, in uniform, standing against a bare wall. He wears the new Philippine campaign ribbon, a red bar with a narrow blue and white stripe in the middle. This 20-year old Navy seaman second class returned from the Pacific and spent a 21-day leave with his parents, Mr. Mrs. Clay Casseaux. He is a former Polytechnic High School student. Besides the naval battles of the Philippines, his light cruiser was engaged in the campaigns of the Gilberts, Marshalls, New Guinea, and other Asiatic raids. He was on fleet duty 21 months. He left Friday to return to his ship on the West Coast. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, April, 1945.
