His schedules are inspection tours of the Fort Worth Army Air Field, Consolidated Aircraft, and Eagle Mountain Marine Naval Air Station. Accompanying Commander Brunner on his tour through Texas is Doctor (Dr.) D. S. Meyers of San Benito, Texas, head of the Texas Department of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Two men are standing side by side in a room. Both have pins on jackets and wearing hats. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 7, 1945.
