Description: Feeders from the Corn Belt States travel a long distance to see Texas livestock. Attending the annual Highland Hereford Feeder Cattle Show in Marfa, Texas left to right are N. C. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Mead McWilliams. Mr. Brown has a farm near Lizton, Indiana where he feeds a number of Texas cattle. He is wearing a button-up shirt, necktie decorated with brands, and trousers. Mr. and Mrs. Mead McWilliams are from Pawnee, Illinois. Mrs. McWilliams is wearing a striped button-up dress and a coat. Mr. McWilliams is dressed in a hat and a suit. There is a hunting trophy hanging on the back wall. Published in the Fort Worth Star Telegram morning edition, October 6, 1940.
