Description: A pool of oil was recently discovered in Mitchell County, near Colorado City, Texas. The land on which the discovery well is being drilled belongs to Mr. E. T. Strain. One of the active companies in the county is the Echols Drilling Company. Jess Wilbanks, the foreman for Echols is shown working on Number 2-A C. C. Crawford. He is dressed in a fedora, striped button-up shirt, and trousers.
