Title: Mrs. Carl Gibbe, bride in series of shots
Description: Visiting with Fort Worth brides. Their hobbies, recreation, duties. When one is a bride, there’s so much to learn about organizing the household tasks, cooking and being a “little housewife” that it keeps a girl plenty busy, Mrs. Carl Gibbe, is finding out. Dr. and Mrs. Gibbe, married here October 4, are established in an apartment after a trip to Mexico. In this photograph Mrs. Gibbe is shown stepping out for a bit of shopping. She is standing outside of her house and looking at a shopping list. She's wearing a dark, long-sleeve trench coat with a pair of gloves and a dark hat adorned with a feather. She's smiling widely as she looks at the list. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition November 30, 1941.
