Title: Globe Aircraft Corporation plane
Description: E. J. Rivers, Globe Aircraft Corporation works manager, changing the "X" printed on the Globe monoplane to a "C," leaving the plane number "NC17690," as it passes the experimental stage. Looking on (from left to right) are K. H. Knox, John Kennedy and Test Pilot T. R. Yarbrough. Rivers, Knox and Kennedy are all wearing dark suits while Yarbrough is wearing a pilot's uniform. Rivers is shown bent over the the wing of the plane and scrubbing off the "X" with a rag. The other three men are standing opposite of Rivers.
